Deliveries

We deliver to the following areas: Village of Trumansburg, Interlaken (14847), Lodi (14860), Ovid (14521), Ithaca (14850), Cornell University, Ithaca College.

We serve all funeral homes in these areas and we are right down the street from Ness-Sibley Funeral Home. There is no delivery charge to Ness-Sibley.

Vine Garden does everything possible to assure prompt delivery of your order. Same day delivery is available if your order is placed by 12:00 noon; Trumansburg (Village) deliveries by 2:00 pm.

Because our delivery area is very rural, we ask that you give us the phone number of the recipient. We don’t like to spoil surprises, but sometimes a delivery is miles away and we will not attempt the delivery unless the recipient is home. If the recipient is not home and has an answering machine, we will leave a message that we have a delivery for them and to call when it is convenient for them to receive the delivery.

Leaving Deliveries Upon Request

We will not leave a delivery in inclement weather. If the weather is nice and you request that a delivery be left at the door step, on a porch, in a garage etc., we will do so. However, we will NOT accept responsibility for its condition once it is found. We will leave a phone message or door tag telling the recipient where to look for the delivery.

Delivery areas and charges vary depending on location. Ask our sales associate the delivery charge for your area.

Holiday Deliveries

Please order early for the best selection. For Valentine’s Day, Easter, Mothers Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas, delivery runs are sectioned off by destination. In some cases we may only run to a rural area once. It is recommended you order early prior to the holiday. We cannot guarantee same day delivery on a major holiday if your order comes in late. However, we will do our best to accommodate you.

We do not deliver on Sundays. Should a holiday fall on a Sunday, your order will be delivered the day prior.

We absolutely cannot take timed deliveries on major holidays (Valentines Day, Mothers Day, Christmas, Thanksgiving). You can be assured that if a delivery is being made to the recipients place of work or a school, your order will be received prior to the closing of the work or school business day.
